THE FACTORY

Wednesday nights are very exciting for Encounter Kids. Our main objective is connecting with parents and training kids to Love God and Love People. Wednesdays are all about discipling kids and having fun.

On Wednesday night elementary kids meet in what we call The Factory. Check in begins at 6:45 pm. When the kids arrive they check into a secure area where they have time to connect and are able to build relationships. At 7:00 pm we make time for the kids to have fun with a large group game and a time of worship followed by a review of our Bible lesson from our Sunday morning service.

At 7:30 pm we transition to small group discussion. The kids are in a group with other kids close to their age and grade (Kindergarten and 1st, 2nd and 3rd, or 4th and 5th). During the discussion time, the kids learn how the Bible lesson applies to their “everyday life” with life application and group discussion questions. Each kid will receive a journal to write down thoughts, ideas, and things God is speaking to them throughout their time in The Factory. The kids will, also, leave with a take home paper of the Bible review and the discussion questions from the evening.

Wednesday Night Check-In Plan

Regular Attender
-- Check in begins 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. (6:45 pm)
Before Service:
1. Parent will Check-in child(ren) at self check-in kiosk.
2. Parent and child(ren) pass through security check point.
3. Parent walks child(ren) to ministry area (The Nursery, The Clubhouse, The Factory)
4. Kids have fun while parents go to service (please keep your claim check).
After Service:
1. Return to the security check point you passed through before service
2. Show claim check to security team member
3. Pick-up your child(ren) from designated ministry area (The Nursery, The Clubhouse, The Factory).
4. Show claim check to attendant as you leave the ministry area.

New Family
-- Check in begins 15 minutes prior to the start of each service. (6:45 pm)
Before Service:
1. Parent will check-in child(ren) with attendant at New Families desk.
2. Hospitality team member escorts family through security check point and to ministry area (The Nursery, The Clubhouse, The Factory)
3. Kids have fun while parents go to service (please keep your claim check).
After Service:
1. Return to the security check-point you passed through before service.
2. Show claim check to security team member.
3. Pick-up your child(ren) from designated ministry area (The Nursery, The Clubhouse, The Factory).
4. Show claim check to attendant as you leave the ministry area.
