THE CLUBHOUSE (Preschool)
The Clubhouse is the Place to Belong for children ages 2 years old through preschool. Come join us for Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights full of fun and learning. We have a team of dedicated volunteers ready to help your children learn that God made them, God loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their forever friend.We use a mix-up of Bible stories, music, games, and crafts to help the Bible come alive.
On Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, families check in at the kiosks located throughout the church. Each child will receive a name tag with a numbered code unique to that day's check in. Parents and guardians hold onto their copy of the code and use it at the end of their worship experience to pick up their children. We have staff on hand at the kiosks to assist you with check-in.
Once you have completed check-in, bring your children to the Clubhouse ministry area. Our staff and volunteers are glad to bring you to the appropriate ministry area. Children will recieve a colored wrist band, dividing them into a color team for the morning, which consists of mixed ages 3-5 years old. Two year old children are always on the yellow team and stay together as a group during the morning. Our kids start their morning in the playroom, spending time engaging in activities and connecting with their Clubhouse Leaders. Parents and guardians pick-up their children from the Activity Room at the end of their worship experience.
Sundays in the Clubhouse
The Activity Room opens on Sundays at 9:15AM. Once the adult service begins, the children line up with their team for the morning and go with their leaders to their morning rotations. Each team spends twenty minutes in each activity room: the Worship Room (worship & Bible lesson), the Game Room, and the Craft Room. Each activity is designed to connect to the Bible lesson for that day. Every team has a leader and a helper that spend the morning with their group. Each room they visit, also, has two leaders to lead the activities and engage the children.
The Bible story is the same for both services in the Clubhouse, but the games, activities and crafts are different from one service to the next.
Wednesdays in the Clubhouse
On Wednesday nights, check your children in at the kiosks located throughout the church. After printing name tags, bring your children to the Clubhouse. The Clubhouse opens at 6:45PM, starting in the Activity Room. Shortly after 7PM, the Clubhouse children go to classes divided by ages. We use Rainbow's Curriculum, which is theme based. Each month centers on a character or virtue, such as Giving, Sharing, and Love. Children enjoy Bible stories, crafts, and games.
